Instructor Agreement:
As an instructor using Mefth.net, you agree to adhere to the following agreement, terms and conditions, as well as our privacy policy and refund rules.
1. Instructor Obligations
1.1 Content Responsibility
The Instructor is responsible for all content posted or provided through the Company's platform, including lectures, quizzes, assignments, resources, and course landing page content ("Submitted Content").
1.2 Representations and Warranties
The Instructor represents and warrants that:
- The account information provided is accurate and up-to-date.
- The Instructor owns or possesses the necessary licenses, rights, consents, permissions, and authority to authorize the Company to use the Submitted Content.
- The Submitted Content does not infringe or misappropriate any third party's intellectual property rights.
- The Instructor possesses the required qualifications, credentials, expertise, and skills to teach and offer the services provided through the Submitted Content.
- The Instructor will ensure a quality of service that meets industry standards.
2. Optional Course Distribution
The Instructor has the option to upload their courses outside of the Company's platform. This is not mandatory and is solely at the discretion of the Instructor.
3. License to the Company
3.1 Grant of Rights
The Instructor grants the Company the rights to offer, market, and exploit the Submitted Content on the Company's platform. This includes modifying the Submitted Content for accessibility and sublicensing the rights to third parties.
3.2 Removal of Content
The Instructor has the right to remove all or any portion of the Submitted Content from the Company's platform at any time.
3.3 Use of Instructor's Information
The Instructor grants the Company permission to use their name, likeness, voice, and image for promotional purposes related to the Company's platform.
4. Trust & Safety
The Instructor agrees to comply with the Company's Trust & Safety policies and content quality standards. This includes refraining from uploading content that promotes predatory behavior, malicious attacks, graphic violence, hate speech, or any material that encourages harmful or dangerous behavior. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in account termination.
5. Communication Protocol
All communication between instructors and customers must be conducted through our platform's secure chat system. Attempting to communicate with customers outside of our site without the consent of the Mefth.net Admins will lead to account suspension.
6. Service Charge
For each transaction, a 20% service charge will be applied to the total price of the course sold on our platform. Instructors must list their courses at a price that includes the 20% service charge, along with their own profit and transaction fees.
7. Payment Procedure
Payments will be made from the UK, and instructors should be aware that transaction fees will be deducted from their revenue. However, the 20% service fee has not been factored into this deduction.
8. Payment Schedule
Instructors may request payment at any time, provided their revenue exceeds $10.
9. Privacy Policy
Instructors must comply with our privacy policy. This includes refraining from uploading content that promotes predatory behavior, malicious attacks, graphic violence, hate speech, or any material that encourages harmful or dangerous behavior. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in account termination.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify the terms of this agreement at any time. In the event of any changes, we will notify instructors accordingly. Continuing to use the platform after changes have been made will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Piracy Protection
We take strong measures to prevent piracy and unauthorized downloading of content. However, the Company is not liable for any instances of piracy that may occur despite these efforts.
